Here is the layout that I created today for Scrappies. It is one of my DT projects for January which has a theme of "Holidays".... I just love the pattern papers that Julz sent me for this part of the challenge... aren't they just gorgeous? So manly or blokie!! But I am just a total kaiser nut as you all know. Off to the big smoke tomorrow as my eyes have been giving me some trouble of late so I am off to have them tested and I think from here on unless I have some kind of problem I will be wearing glasses to enjoy the finer details of my scrapbooking... watch out another lo in the making!! Ok have a great weekend everyone and I will be sure to post again real soon.

I can't believe that I haven't posted in soo long.... I have been kinda busy with school holidays and having fun in my new studio. But tomorrow school goes back and hopefully I will be here posting more often.
The family and I have just been lucky enough to have four days away and we travelled down to Brisbane to stay with friends. I was doubly extra lucky as Ken took me to 5 scrapbooking shops that I have never been to before. I shopped til I dropped but still could have spent a week shopping and taken home a trailer load of goodies rather than just a bag or two......
But enough of my weekend. Here is my latest lo from this weeks Beary Box sketch challenge. As always you just have to go and visit Joey's amazing blog to see the other DT members amazing takes on this sketch! Bye for now!

I was lucky enough today to steal a couple of hours in my studio (in between the fights and squabbles...) and produced these two lo's. The one of my children and their friend came first and I was so excited about it but the second one... I was trying to get outside my box and am not 100% sure about my creation. So everyone what do you think?? The more I look at it the more I like it but ...... Hope everyone is having a great week and getting lots of scrappin done!

Here are another two kaiser kits that I have done over the past few days. Life is still all over the place with the school holidays still in full swing here. I can't wait til next Tuesday when they all go back to school and I can hide in my new "studio" for more than 15 mins without a fight starting!

This is the first lo to be completed in my "new" studio.... I will post a photo that shortly. It is a solution to our housing problem... our corporate rental is just too small for the five of us so.... check back shortly to see our solution. In the meantime this is a kit that I brought from a local scrapping store out in Rockhampton. Sadly I have only been there once, they are not on the net and I can't remember the store name so I have to work out who to give credit too.... When I do I will let you all know you created this kit. It is simple but gorgeous and I had fun putting it all together. Another shot of my darling hubbie Ken and our darling daughter Nicayla on the ferry crossing the river in Brissy during our Sept 08 holidays. Thanks for looking everyone!

This is the latest sketch challenge that I have completed for the gorgeous Joey at Beary Box! This is my middle child Jordie when he had chicken pox this past September. Lucky for all of us he recovered just in time for our trip to Brisbane during the school holidays. Be sure to stop by Beary Box and check out the designs of the other talented scrapbookers and card makers.

I hope you have all had a fantastic Christmas and a wonderful new year. Sorry I have been absent for so long but the family packed up and went away on a couple of weeks holiday and it has been hectic since our return earlier this week. We had a glorious time but it was very busy and tiring too. We are all glad to be home but wishing school was returning a wee bit sooner too!
Anyway here is the first of the couple of bb lo's that I haven't had time to upload. Hope you all like it and get some inspiration from the blog.
